Our brand, Nakavindhini, is a tribute to the artistry and heritage of Kanjeevaram, as well as to our beloved parents, Dinakar Nagarathnam and Kamala Dinakar, who inspired our appreciation for tradition and culture. Named by blending our names—Nakambika and Aravindhini—Nakavindhini represents our shared commitment to honoring Kanjeevaram’s legacy and bringing its timeless beauty to the world.

Founded by sisters Nakambika Dinakar and Aravindhini Dinakar, Nakavindhini was born as an homage to our roots, drawing from generations of expertise and passion for this art. At the heart of our designs is a reverence for Kanjeevaram’s history, with motifs inspired by historic sculptures and cultural symbolism.
